SN74HC164PW

SN74HC164PW is an 8-bit parallel output serial shift register with serial input of AND gate and asynchronous clear input. The gated serial input allows complete control of the incoming data. The low level of any input inhibits the input of new data and resets the first flip-flop to low level on the next clock pulse. The high level input enables another input, and then determines the state of the first flip-flop. If the minimum settling time requirement is met, the data on the serial input can be changed when CLK is high or low. The clock occurs when CLK transitions from low to high.
