SN74LV8153N is a serial-to-parallel data converter that accepts serial input data and outputs 8-bit parallel data. The OUTSEL pin is used to select between open collector and push-pull output. When the device is used in applications that require high drive currents such as LED interfaces, the open collector option is suitable. SOUT is the output that confirms the reception of serial data. In order to ensure the high-impedance state during power-up or power-down, OE\ should be connected to VCC1 through a pull-up resistor. The minimum value of the resistance is determined by the current sink capability of the driver.
