MAX6397LATA+ is a small high-voltage overvoltage protection circuit. The device will disconnect the output load or limit the output voltage in the event of an input overvoltage. These devices are well suited for applications that must withstand high voltage transients, such as those in industrial applications. When the monitored input voltage is lower than the user-adjustable overvoltage threshold, the external n-channel MOSFET is turned on by the GATE output.
