LM317MSTT3G is an adjustable 3-terminal output positive voltage regulator, which only needs two external resistors to set the output voltage. In addition, it uses internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe area compensation, making it inherently explosion-proof. The device can also be used to make a programmable output regulator or by connecting a fixed resistor between the regulator and the output, the regulator can be used as a precision current regulator.
